The Laid Back Band came about when four really nice folks from Cedar Rapids came together in a different band and decided to pursue a passion for a special style of music.

LBB borrowed some very cool tunes and gave them a special sprinkle kind of love and made them spicy and nice. The interaction with guests between songs is just as entertaining as the music itself. But when it comes right down to it, the music is the true star of the show.

LBB features adult contemporary songs by artists such as Nora Jones, Imelda May, Amy Winehouse, and Melody Gardot to name a few. They are also found of tossing current hits, past pop favorites, a little blues, a dash of rock-n-roll and numbers from the Great American Songbook into the LBB blender pouring out a very tasty mix of musical fun.
