Dozens of breweries are coming to Cedar Rapids for 10th Annual Drink Local Festival.
The Cedar Rapids Brewing Society will be returning to Cedar Rapids' Benz Beverage Depot this summer for the Drink Local Festival which will include craft breweries, cideries, and homebrew clubs from all across Iowa. The event will be on Saturday, August 20th from 1 to 5 PM at Benz. Tickets are $30 online or $35 at the gate.
Breweries from across the great state of Iowa are coming together to show off their best beers, ciders, seltzers, kombucha, more. All tickets will include a Drink Local Festival sampling glass with unlimited samples from 1-5pm.
The craft beer scene in Iowa is thriving. There are more than 60 breweries in Iowa now with more opening every week. This event is a great opportunity to try beers you have never had before and get introduced to Iowa's best brewers and homebrew clubs.
When you're sampling beverages, try stepping out of your comfort zone. Try a new beer, cider, or Kombucha. Talk to the brewer who is serving it.
